We are learning about why Caged Chickens should be banned.
I enjoyed learning about how cruel it is that they are caged.
I found it challenging to write it in my own words.
Why Caged Hens should not be in Cages
Would you want to be a caged hen with no room to move? Eighty-five percent of all chickens that lay eggs are kept in a shed that contain over forty five thousand captive hens. The hens space in their cage is the size of an A4 piece of paper, they are cramped up and can’t dust bathe or exercise. Caged hens get diseases, like osteoporosis due to the lack of exercise and fatty liver disease. My conclusion is: eighty-five percent of all chickens that lay eggs are kept in sheds that contain over forty five thousand hens. Their cage is the size of an A4 piece of paper and can’t act natural. They get diseases like osteoporosis and fatty liver disease. I firmly believe that hens should not be kept in cages as its inhumane and cruel.
